POWERGRID Non Executive Admit Card 2026 Out CBT Exam On 1 July For 660 Vacancies
PGCIL admit card 2026: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has released the PGCIL Non Executive Admit Card 2026 for Diploma Trainee (DT), Junior Officer Trainee (JOT) and Junior Technician Trainee (JTT) posts.
Candidates who applied under Advertisement No. CC/01/2026 can now access their hall tickets through the official website powergrid.in. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled for 1 July 2026.The recruitment drive covers more than 660 vacancies across POWERGRID and Central Transmission Utility of India Limited (CTUIL). The admit card release comes ahead of the nationwide examination to be conducted in a single shift for multiple trainee categories.Direct download link activated on official portalThe admit card download facility has been enabled on the career section of the official POWERGRID website. Candidates are required to log in using their registration credentials, including application number and date of birth, to access the document. The hall ticket contains details such as exam centre, reporting time, candidate information and examination guidelines.
As per the recruitment schedule, the admit card was issued on 25 June 2026, a few days before the CBT date. Candidates have been advised to verify all details printed on the admit card and ensure accuracy of personal information before appearing for the examination.Examination structure and marking schemeThe CBT will include 170 questions to be completed in 2 hours. The paper is divided into Technical or Professional Knowledge with 120 questions and Aptitude with 50 questions.
Each incorrect answer will carry negative marking of one-fourth mark, making accuracy important for candidates.The selection process further includes a qualifying skill or trade test followed by medical examination. Only candidates clearing the CBT will be shortlisted for subsequent stages of recruitment.
Eligibility and post-wise qualification detailsThe recruitment includes Diploma Trainee posts in Electrical, Civil and Survey disciplines, along with Junior Officer Trainee posts in HR and Finance and Accounts.
Junior Technician Trainee posts require ITI qualification in Surveyor trade.Candidates must hold the required diploma or degree in relevant fields. Higher qualifications such as B.Tech or M.Tech are not considered valid for diploma-level posts under this recruitment.Important instructions for candidatesCandidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof to the examination centre. Entry will not be permitted without these documents.
