Piyusha Roy on joining Satya Sacchi: My entry will add fuel to the drama

Piyusha Roy, who has been part of shows like Pyar Ke Saat Vachan Dharam Patnii, Do Dooni Pyaar, CID and Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, is all set to enter Satya Sacchi. She will be seen playing Payal opposite Ankur Bhardwaj's Shaurya.

Interestingly, Payal is Shaurya’s first love, who was long believed to be dead.

Talking about her entry, Piyusha says, “A major twist is about to unfold in the show. Shaurya’s first love, Payal, who was long presumed dead, makes a shocking return and turns his world upside down. While her comeback leaves Shaurya stunned and emotional, he decides to bring her home. Her return rekindles old emotions and disrupts his present life with Sacchi (Bhagyashree Mishra).” She adds, “As memories from the past collide with present-day realities, a complicated love triangle emerges between Sacchi, Shaurya and Payal. Loyalties begin to blur, hidden secrets come to the surface and Shaurya finds himself torn between his past and present. My entry will definitely add fuel to the drama.” Joining a show midway through its journey comes with its own set of challenges, something Piyusha is well aware of.

She says, “Of course, it will be challenging because the lead pair has already connected with the audience and earned their love. But I am not here to replace anyone or take anybody’s place. I hope viewers also shower some love on Payal. She is a very cute and bubbly character, and I will do my best to make the audience connect with her.

I am confident they will find a place for her in their hearts as well.” The actress is equally optimistic about the dynamics her character will bring to the story.

She says, “I know the existing pair has a special place in the audience’s hearts, but I believe this new pairing will also grab attention and add a fresh layer to the narrative.” So, what makes Payal stand out? The actress promises plenty of drama and entertainment. She shares, “Payal will bring several shades to the story. There will be fun moments, jealousy, emotional conflicts and the constant suspense of who ultimately wins.

Her presence will add a lot of excitement, drama and unpredictability to the storyline.” And could Payal eventually turn grey? Piyusha hints that the possibility certainly exists. She says, “Yes, I feel the character could eventually take a negative turn. Personally, though, I would love for her to remain the cute and bubbly Payal that audiences first meet.”
