Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Varanasi today, where he will lay the foundation stone and inaugurate several development projects worth around Rs 2,200 crore.

Ahead of his visit, PM Modi took to X and wrote in Hindi, “August 2nd is a very special day for my family members in Kashi. Around 11 AM tomorrow, I will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several projects related to education, health, sports, tourism, and connectivity. On this occasion, I will also have the honour of releasing the 20th installment of the PM-Kisan scheme.”

The Prime Minister will inaugurate projects spanning multiple vital sectors, including infrastructure, education, healthcare, tourism, urban development, and cultural heritage.
