Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday tried his hand at playing the traditional Kerala drum, Chenda, during a public gathering in Palakkad, adding a cultural touch to his ongoing election outreach in the state. It comes as the BJP intensifies its campaign efforts ahead of the Kerala Assembly elections.
PM Modi also met NDA candidates in the state ahead of the elections, in a move aimed at boosting the alliance’s campaign in the state.
While addressing a rally, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said a “wave of change" is visible in Kerala, asserting that the mood of the state is turning in favour of the NDA.
