Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launched a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday (April 20, 2026), alleging that the State has descended into “chaos, appeasement and corruption” under the Trinamool Congress’s rule.

In a post on X, Mr. Pradhan said the situation in West Bengal has deteriorated to the extent that the Trinamool’s ‘Maa, Mati, Manush’ has been reduced to a mere slogan, while public trust in governance has eroded.
