‘Prathama Pallava’ Bharatanatya programme in Hubballi on Sunday

Students of the Natyanjali Nruitya Kala Kendra will present the dance drama ‘Daasharathi’ during the ‘Prathama Pallava’ Bharatanatya dance festival in Hubballi on Sunday.

Addressing press persons here on Friday, the president of the Kala Kendra, Pradeep Bhat, and dancer Sahana Bhat spoke about the dance drama and other programmes to be held as part of the dance festival.

Mr. Bhat said that disciples of Sahana Bhat, namely Anagha Kulkarni, Vaishnavi Singh, Bhuvana Hiremath, Raghavi S. Fattepur, and Sanidhya Billur, would be presenting various performances along with the dance drama.

The background music will be provided by Ms. Bhat, Vinay Manya, Pancham Upadhyay, Deepak Hebbar, and Gopikrishna. Shivaram K.V. and Vanita R. will be the guests for the programme. The Prathama Pallava is to be held at the Sawai Gandharva Hall in Deshpande Nagar, Hubballi, at 4.30 p.m.
