India captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and elected to field first against England in the third T20I at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, with the visitors making one change to their playing XI.Pacer Prince Yadav comes into the side in place of leg-spinner Ravi Bishnoi, who endured a difficult outing in the previous match. Explaining the decision, Iyer said the team continued to back its players despite setbacks. "We're going to bowl first. That (last game) was just a hiccup which you can't control, and you definitely have to back your bowler. He's thinking a bit too much, but I know everyone goes through that patch. The boys are in high spirits anyway. I had a chat with him. Every player goes through that phase in their life, so it's a great learning for him as well and for the team," Iyer said during the toss.

England captain Harry Brook admitted he was undecided at the toss but revealed the hosts would also have chosen to bat first had they won."We were a little bit indecisive, to be honest. I was glad I lost the toss, but we would have had a bat, I thought it was an excellent performance from everybody involved. We fielded outstandingly and bowled really well, especially through the middle phase, which is an area we wanted to improve. Then to knock off those runs was awesome," Brook said during the toss.
