A motorcyclist was critically injured after heavy iron pieces fell on him from a flyover. A tempo collided with the flyover walls, causing the iron to fall.

In a tragic incident reported from Pune, a motorcyclist got severely injured after heavy iron load fell on him. The brutal accident has taken place in Pimpri-Chinchwad’s Bhosari area on Thursday afternoon.

A CCTV footage of the horrific incident emerged and it shows several iron pieces falling from Bhosari flyover, severely injuring the rider. He got unconscious on the spot.

A tempo was going through the flyover above Chhava Chowk and collided with the walls of the flyover. As a repercussion of the collision, heavy iron material fell from the flyover from a height of over 15–20 feet onto the head of the two-wheeler rider.

Panic spread after the incident and locals rushed to assist the injured motorcyclist. He was rushed immediately to a local hospital and is currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU).
