Record pilgrim rush drives Srivari Laddu sales to historic high of 1.26 crore in June at Tirumala

TIRUPATI: The sacred Srivari Laddu Prasadam, reverently sought after by devotees following their darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara, registered a historic sales milestone in June 2026.Anticipating a massive seasonal influx of pilgrims, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams senior officials led by Additional EO Ch Venkaiah Chowdary and his team efficiently scaled up production at the temple kitchens to guarantee an uninterrupted supply, ensuring that no devotee faced a shortage or inconvenience.This record-breaking surge caps off a highly successful summer season. Sales rose steadily from 1,11,96,170 laddus in April to 1,21,35,528 in May, before ultimately peaking at an unprecedented 1,26,81,805 laddus in June.The June 2026 figures represent a significant leap forward when compared to historical data from the same month in previous years. In June 2024, TTD recorded the sale of 1,02,64,364 laddus, which then grew to 1,19,21,353 in June 2025.The current record of 1,26,81,805 laddus reflects a strong 6.37% growth over last year, an increase of 7,59,452 offerings, and a remarkable 23.55% surge over June 2024, translating to an additional 24,17,441 laddus distributed.
