New Delhi: Xiaomi has recently silently extended its Redmi audio lineup by unveiling Redmi Headphone Neo, which brings the latest over-ear headphones to some markets outside Japan.

This model is now listed across parts of Europe, Australia, East Asia, and Southeast Asia, with the pricing focused squarely at the budget segment. This feature sheet looks more ambitious than the price tag might suggest.

It uses 40mm titanium-plated drivers and supports Hi-Res Audio when connected through a cable. The Bluetooth 5.4 allows people to listen via Bluetooth, and they can move between two devices that are paired without disconnecting every time.

Xiaomi also has some USB Type-C audio support, which may come in handy for gamers, video editors, and those who need to use real-time applications. The three-microphone system filters out background noises during calls, and Headphone Neo provides up to 42dB ambient noise reduction. There is also support for wind noise reduction that will be useful if using outdoors.

Additionally, real-world estimates show that Xiaomi’s 600mAh battery can play for as long as 72 hours when ANC is turned off, which will, of course, fluctuate with the amount of volume and how often this battery is being used. They claim it can be charged within 10 minutes for approximately 5 hours of listening. It has leather binaural ears and a strap for the head. It comes in two colors: Obsidian Black and Sand White.
