New Delhi: So, finally, Redmi has unveiled its most-awaited device in China. Redmi comes with the Turbo 5 series, which includes two models: Redmi Turbo 5 and Redmi Turbo 5 Max. This latest Redmi Turbo series generally focuses on making large-capacity batteries with MediaTek’s latest processor power together in one device. Redmi is aimed at users whose priority is performance and long battery life for their whole day usage. Now, let’s discuss the specifications of these two devices.
Redmi Turbo 5 Max (Specification):
This is a high-end model in this series, which features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling. It is paired with the up to 3,500nits of peak brightness so that users can use this device smoothly in solid sunlight. In terms of performance, this device is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500s processor, which is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 onboard storage.
Out of the box, this device will run Android 16-based on HyperOS 3. Now if we discuss about the camera specification it comes with 50MP Light Fusion 600 primary sensor which is coupled with 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor, there is dual rear camera setup this device will carry. On the front, there is a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The most highlighted part of this device is the battery capacity, because it houses a massive 9,000mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging support. It also carries IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for water and dust resistance.
Redmi Turbo 5 (Specification):
It features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate for a smooth scrolling experience. This device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra processor, so in terms of performance, this device is not going to disappoint gamers. It is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.1 onboard storage, which is similar to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
In terms of camera, this device also carries a dual rear camera setup, which includes a 50MP Sony IMX882 primary camera sensor, and it is coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor. And on the front, there is a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calling, which is similar to the high-end model. This device is equipped with a 7,560mAh battery pack with 100W wired fast charging support, so in terms of battery, this device will not disappoint users.
Pricing:
In China, the Redmi Turbo 5 is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 26,500), whereas the Redmi Turbo 5 Max is priced at CNY 2,499 (roughly Rs 33,000). After seeing this pricing, users expect that Redmi will launch this Turbo series in India under Rs 35,000.
