Regularised Charlapalli weekly express reaches Trichy

Trichy: The regularised Charlapalli-Trichy weekly express train reached Trichy Junction railway station on Wednesday.The train will depart Charlapalli near Hyderbad by 5.20pm (Tuesday) and reach Trichy station by 6.45pm (Wednesday).

The train will the leave Trichy Junction by 9.30pm (Wednesday) and reach Charlapalli by 9.30pm (Thursday).

The train would pass through Katpadi, Renigunta, Nellore, Guntur, and Nalgonda railway stations.Trichy MP Durai Vaiko welcomed passengers from the train at Srirangam on Wednesday. Thanking the railway board and Union railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, MDMK’s principal secretary said the train connecting Srirangam, Tiruvannamalai, and Tirupati temples will help spiritual tourism.Responding to a question on controversy surrounding industries minister Keerthana’s inspection in a govt school, the MP said there is a fake narrative being set to mislead the intentions of the minister. “Perhaps, she could have handled the situation in a mature manner as it involved children. TVK govt should be given some time as there are several first time MLAs,” he said. He also defended the TVK’s govt move to provide jobs to family members of Karur stampede victims.
