Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday embarked on eight-day five-nation tour to Ghana, Trinidad & Tobago, Argentina, Brazil, and Namibia in his longest diplomatic visit in the past 11 years.

This will be Prime Minister’s first-ever bilateral visit to Ghana and the first visit by an Indian Prime Minister to Argentina in over five decades.

First Destination: Ghana

PM Modi’s is visiting Ghana at the invitation of President John Dramani Mahama. The PM’s visit comes after three decades. Ghana is one of the fastest growing economies in West Asia.
