Actor Sahil Arora prioritizes impactful roles over industry struggles, finding joy in meaningful storytelling and showcasing his craft. Having moved to Mumbai two and a half years ago, he cherishes his journey, aiming to further explore his acting potential on the big screen.
For actor Sahil Arora, the journey in the entertainment industry has been less about struggling with the system and more about striving for the right opportunities. Known for his work in shows like Mangal Lakshmi, Shrimati Shukla, Gutar Gu Season 3, and Jamai No.
1, Sahil reflects on his career with a sense of clarity and purpose. “Challenges that every actor might have faced would be around casting directors, but I’ve had a pleasant experience in that area,” he shares, adding that for him, the bigger challenge lies elsewhere. “The real challenge has been about cracking impactful roles where I can showcase my skills and explore new horizons for myself. After all the hard work, luck and destiny have to be in your favour too.”Talking about the kind of work that excites him, Sahil emphasises his love for meaningful storytelling. “Roles that have an impact on the storyline or allow me to show my craft excite me the most. The craft of an actor, when it becomes visible to the audience—that’s what really drives me,” he says. Having already received appreciation for both positive and negative roles, he admits he has a personal inclination. “The audience has shown me love in both shades, but personally, I love doing positive roles that carry impact.
And of course, I want to take that further onto the big screen.”Originally from Surat, Gujarat, Sahil made the move to Mumbai about two and a half years ago, a decision that came with its own set of highs and lows. “Shifting to Mumbai has been a journey full of ups and downs, but also full of learnings and experiences. Overall, I’m in love with what I’m doing.”
