New Delhi: So finally, Samsung has unveiled its 5G version of Galaxy A07 in India, featuring a 50MP primary camera sensor and a massive 6,000mAh battery pack. It comes with a 6.7-inch HD+ display with smooth scrolling and a 120Hz refresh rate, and it comes in three colour options: Light Violet, Light Green, and Black. Samsung has also claimed that it will offer six years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. For the base variant of 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, which is priced at Rs 15,999.
The display supports a high-brightness mode of up to 800 nits, and it is protected by a 2-step tempered glass. This device also carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance. On the back, there is a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer finish. Samsung Galaxy A07 uses an Iconic Track Camera Deco housing with the dual rear camera system. This includes a 50MP autofocus wide camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there is an 8MP primary camera sensor for selfies and video calling.
Out of the box, this device runs on Android 16 based on One UI 8.0. This device stated that it has also adds biometric authentication support for UPI transactions through Samsung Wallet. Users can authorize payments using fingerprint or face recognition, removing the need for manual PIN entry. Samsung has also stated that this device stores sensitive data within the Samsung Knox Vault, a hardware-backed security system that isolates biometric credentials and encryption keys from the primary operating system.
