Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge may have leaked ahead of iPhone 17 series September 9 'Awe Dropping' launch

iPhone 17 series

launch is just around the corner and ahead of the unveiling of iPhone 17, rumoured iPhone 17 Air,

iPhone 17 Pro

and iPhone 17 Pro Max, purported renders of the

Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge

have surfaced. The latest renders suggest that the phone could get a major redesign that makes it look similar to the upcoming iPhone 17 Pro.The images, shared by reliable leaker OnLeaks with Android Headlines, show a device with incredibly thin bezels and a noticeable horizontal camera island on the back, which houses two lenses. This design would be a significant shift from the current Galaxy S25 Edge, which has a vertical, triple-camera setup. The new renders are instead more like the leaked designs and dummy models of the iPhone 17 Pro, which were seen at the IFA 2025 show. However, a key difference is that the iPhone 17 Pro is rumored to have three cameras, not just two.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge to be thinner and have new features

The Galaxy S26 Edge is rumored to replace the Galaxy S26 Plus model and could also feature built-in magnets for

Qi2 charging

, a feature already available on recent iPhones and the entire Pixel 10 series. The leaked information also suggests the phone will be even thinner than its predecessor, measuring just 5.5mm thick (or 10.8mm with the camera bump), compared to the 5.8mm S25 Edge.
