New Delhi: Samsung’s most-awaited Galaxy Z Flip 8 will retain the largely unchanged design compared to the previous models. Images of Samsung’s next-generation flip-style smartphone have surfaced on the web, indicating that it might look identical to last year’s model with only minor physical tweaks.
This device is also expected to receive internal updates, including the latest processor and battery improvements. Galaxy Z Flip 8 is expected to be unveiled on July 22 along with the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Galaxy Z Wide at Samsung’s next Galaxy Unpacked event.
Galaxy Z Flip 8 will follow closely the design-language revealed with the last-generation. There were even reports that the device will have the same dual-camera on the outer panel and a general similar layout on the inside and outside.
The only physical difference that could be pointed out could be a minor decrease in thickness, and the device is said to be slightly thinner than its predecessor when folded. It is also anticipated that display sizes will not change with the inner foldable screen size being 6.9 inches and the outer cover display being approximately 4.1 inches.
A slight improvement Samsung could introduce to the foldable panel is improving the appearance of the crease making it less noticeable. Galaxy Z Flip 8 will probably be standardized by an Exynos 2600 chip used by Samsung in some recent Galaxy S26 models.
Samsung could also have a somewhat larger battery than the last model, and its priority is to enhance the overall stamina.
