Samsung One UI 9.0: Full list of supported devices and new features

New Delhi: Samsung is now all set to introduce its next major software upgrade, One UI 9.0, based on Android 17. Beta program is already out for the selected Galaxy devices, providing users with an early look at the latest features and updates Samsung packed into this release. Samsung has yet to confirm which Galaxy devices will be updated to One UI 9.0. This list is based on the current upgrade policy.

One UI 9.0 features thicker sliders for display brightness and volume that now fill out their full pill shapes for better touch accuracy. However, the media player widgets on the lock screen and quick panel now it can be resized and now it will also show the energetic waveform animations that match the album art. Several media controls now will appear as the circular buttons instead of being grouped inside the rounded rectangular container.

The latest software will also unveil several of the latest Galaxy AI features and refinements to existing features. It will have a Creative Studio built directly into the stock application, enabling users to build personalized profile cards without opening separate applications. Home Up module in Good Lock has been upgraded to support multi-finger gestures for assigning custom actions, such as adjusting volume or triggering pop-up windows. One UI 9 also integrates the latest Ask AI feature inside the Samsung Browser to get direct answers from webpages.
