New Delhi: Samsung hasn’t officially rolled out its One UI 9 Beta yet, but in some leaks it has already revealed several tweaks, with the latest surfacing UI improvements for Alarm and Timer.
One UI 8.5 is the major visual overhaul, bringing Ambient Design and redesigned applications. One UI 9 based on Android 17 might largely aim at refinements. Minor changes across the software system are expected to be included.

One UI 9 is bringing design modifications to Alarm and Timer functions. The former is getting more visible design changes compared to the Timer. Samsung Alarm in One UI 9 looks more vibrant; the interface now features larger text with expanded spacing.
This button, which features the cross icon, has also become bigger, while the Snooze adjustment looks more unified. Samsung Timer feature has fewer visible changes than the Alarm.
Change in size of the clock text, which appears a little longer; the overall aesthetics are largely similar on the latest version. One UI 8.5 has started to roll out to Samsung users around the world; wider availability will take time, but Samsung might already move ahead of the next version. One UI 9 Beta might start by the end of May or the beginning of June.
