Samsung has announced that it has opened the pre-bookings for its new Galaxy S-series smartphones. Soon after announcing the date for the launch of its “Next AI Phone” – widely rumoured to be Galaxy S26 series, including Galaxy S26 Ultra, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 – the company said those interested can secure their spot in line by paying a refundable token.
How to pre-reserve new Galaxy S-Series smartphone in India
Starting Wednesday (February 11), Indian consumers can secure their spot in line by paying a refundable token amount of Rs 999. Pre-reservations are available through multiple channels, including:
- Online: Samsung.com, Amazon.in and Flipkart.com.
- Offline: Samsung Exclusive stores and leading retail outlets across the country.
Customers who pre-reserve will be eligible for exclusive benefits worth Rs 2,699 upon the final purchase of the ‘Next AI Phone’.
Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2026 announced
Earlier, Samsung confirmed that its next big event – Galaxy Unpacked will take place in San Francisco on February 25.
The event is scheduled to begin at 11:30 p.m. IST and will be livestreamed globally via Samsung’s official website, Newsroom, and YouTube channel.“Get ready for a mobile experience designed to remove friction from the things you do every day,” the company stated.
What to expect from the Samsung Galaxy S26 lineup
While Samsung is yet to officially reveal the name and specifications of the next Galaxy S-series smartphones, it is expected to follow the company’s successful three-tier strategy: the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and the flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra model is said to be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. In certain markets, the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ may be powered by the Exynos 2600 SoC.When it comes to cameras, leaks suggest upgrades in low-light video capture and enhanced zoom capabilities, likely to be boosted by new AI-driven post-processing. Rumours also suggest that the company may also unveil the Galaxy Buds 4 lineup during the same event.For those following the global announcement, Samsung is also offering incentives for early adopters.
