Sand Pink Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones now available in India

New Delhi: Sony recently introduced the latest Sand Pink colour variant of its WH-1000MX6 headphones in India, and it was announced along with the unveiling of the WF-1000MX6. Sony has stated that this latest colour adds a fresh and contemporary aesthetic to the WH-1000MX6 series. It is developed in collaboration with the acclaimed recording studios: Sterling Sound, Battery Studios, and Coast Mastering, and the headphones aim to provide studio-grade audio quality to their users. They also feature enhanced noise cancellation, and they support 360 Reality Audio Upmix for Cinema, along with other improvements in these headphones.

It is priced at Rs 39,990, and it is now available in four colour options: Sand Pink, Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue. The WH-1000MX6 features Sony’s upgraded HD Noise Cancelling Processor QN3, which is seven times faster than the earlier version. It also works with 12 microphones in real-time to improve active noise cancellation and overall sound clarity.

Users also get features such as Adaptive NC Optimiser and an upgraded Auto Ambient Sound mode, which can adjust sound settings based on the surroundings. The latest Scene-based Listening feature also detects the environment and the user activity to automatically adjust playback and noise cancellation accordingly.

These headphones come with a high-rigidity carbon fibre composite dome and redesigned voice coil, enhancing vocal depth and clearer instrument separation. These headphone also supports high-resolution audio in both wired and wireless modes, by including LDAC compatibility. Alongside, Sony has also included several impressive feature which includes Edge-AI and DSEE Extreme technology to upscale compressed audio tracks in real-time. Additionally, it includes Background Music Effect, Game EQ, and 360 Reality Audio Upmix for Cinema to create the spatial audio experience while watching films.

In these headphones, Sony has equipped them with a six-microphone beamforming system that uses AI-based voice isolation to distinguish speech from the surrounding noise. This is supported by Sony’s own voice pick-up technology to deliver clearer conversations.
