Sony expands PS Plus Catalogue with Spider-Man 2 in February

New Delhi: Sony has recently introduced its February series of the PlayStation Plus Game Catalogue at the State of Play event that was hosted on February 12. This lineup now features renowned titles like Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, Neva, Disney Pixar Wall-E, Rugby 25, and much more. In addition, along with this lineup, Sony has also confirmed during the State of Play event that God of War: Sons of Sparta is now available for PlayStation 5 players. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2:

It is available for PS5 players and reunites Peter Parker and Miles Morales for the latest PS5 adventure set in Marvel’s New York. Players can switch between both heroes by using expanded traversal options such as the Web Wings and distinct combat abilities. The story unveils Venom as the central antagonist, placing the city and those close to Spider-Man at risk.

Rugby 25:

Rugby 23 targets to deliver a comprehensive rugby simulation by featuring the club and international competitions. This game also includes an extensive roster of teams and officially modelled venues, along with the strategic gameplay systems especially designed to reflect the sport’s intensity. Players can manage or compete with top-tier clubs and national squads, and it is available for PS5 and PS4 players.

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown:

Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown now revives the open-world racing series 13 years after its last main entry. This game features over 30 manufacturers, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, and Bugatti, spanning classic cars to modern hypercars. The Players can join either the Streets or the Sharps factions and compete in clan-based races to progress and unlock the rewards. It is available only for PS5 players.

Neva:

Neva is an action-adventure title from the team behind Gris. It also follows the Alba and wolf club, bound together after a traumatic event, as they travel through a fading world. As the wolf matures, their relationship evolves, shaping the gameplay and narrative. The journey focuses on survival, companionship, and resilience in the crumbling landscape. It is available for the PS5 and PS4 players.

Season: A Letter to the Future:

Season: A Letter to the Future is a third-person atmospheric adventure centred on a bicycle road trip. The players leave home to document memories before the looming cataclysm. By using the tools to record sound, visuals, and stories, they can explore communities and uncover the layers of culture, history, and ecology in the changing world. And it is available for both PS5 and PS4 players.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin:

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will continue the turn-based RPG spin-off set in the Monster Hunter universe. The players can take on the role of the Rider, bonding with the Monsties to battle along with them. The story will follow the Red’s grandchild and a mysterious Rathalos egg, unfolding into a journey about legacy, friendship, and looming danger. And it is available for PS4 players only.

Venba:

Venba is a narrative-driven cooking game centred on the Indian mother who relocates to Canada in the 1980s. As she restores damaged family recipes, players prepare traditional dishes while engaging in branching conversations. The story will explore themes of migration, identity, family, and belonging through food and everyday life. And it is available only for PS5 users.

Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition:

Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition casts the players as the Ryn, a magic-wielding vestige, in seeking to rescue her brother amid rising war. She journeys across the landscapes inspired by Iceland, including the glaciers and volcanic terrain. The game blends magic and technology in a narrative-driven adventure filled with combat and exploration. And it is available for the PS5 players so that they can enjoy this game.

Disney Pixar Wall-E:

Originally, it was released on PlayStation 2. Disney Pixar Wall-E now returns through the PlayStation Plus Premium catalogue. This game is based on the 2008 film. The game also follows the lone robot Wall-E as he navigates a polluted Earth and ventures into space after meeting Eve. The adventure will combine puzzle-solving with competitive multiplayer mini-games for up to four players. It is available for both PS5 and PS4 players.
