A speeding Ferrari lost control, veered onto the wrong side of the road and rammed multiple vehicles in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills on Sunday, leaving several people injured.

The collision was so intense that multiple cars and two-wheelers were heavily damaged, and the Ferrari itself suffered significant damage.

Police said the accident happened when the car, driven by businessman Kranti Reddy, allegedly experienced brake failure and a steering lock, causing him to lose control.

The incident adds to increasing demands for tougher checks and stricter enforcement against reckless driving and overspeeding, especially after a string of recent crashes involving luxury and premium vehicles, some of which involved minors behind the wheel.

According to the police, people travelling in the opposite direction sustained serious injuries in the collision and were shifted to nearby hospitals for treatment. The condition of the injured is yet to be officially confirmed.

A light mast in the center of the road was also struck by the car, causing it to topple to one side.
