Sharika Enterprises wins maiden ADMS subcontract in Uttarakhand

Noida: Power sector automation and tech integration specialist Sharika Enterprises Limited has marked a major breakthrough with its maiden Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) subcontract in the state of Uttarakhand. This project win expands the company’s portfolio from core smart grid consulting to high value, execution heavy distribution management system integration. It establishes a strong regional footprint as the company taps into India’s growing demand for power infrastructure solutions. 

Awarded under the Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited’s (UPCL) flagship Ganga Corridor power distribution modernization project, Sharika Enterprises will work with East India Udyog Limited (EIUL), the lead contractor, to transform the region’s power distribution network through an integrated SCADA-ADMS platform that combines Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distribution Management System (DMS), and Outage Management System (OMS) functionalities.

This integrated solution will help provide utilities with real-time network visibility, intelligent monitoring and control, and faster fault identification and restoration, enhancing operational efficiency. This will also strengthen the grid reliability and improve the power quality, as Indian discoms look to accelerate investments in smart grids and digital infrastructure.
