Shimla horror: School administrator shot dead outside campus gate

SHIMLA: A school administrator was shot dead outside the gate of a private school in the Sanjauli area on Saturday evening after unidentified attackers opened fire, according to news agency PTI.The deceased was identified as Meenakshi Mittal, who served as the administrator of Saraswati Paradise International Public School in Housing Board Colony, Sanjauli.The incident took place around 7.30 pm when unknown assailants arrived at the school premises and fired multiple shots.Mittal suffered a bullet injury to her head and died on the spot after three rounds were fired.Police reached the location soon after receiving information, secured the area, and carried out a forensic examination while collecting evidence from the scene.Special teams have been formed to trace and arrest the attackers, with search operations underway. Officers are also reviewing CCTV footage and other technical inputs to establish how the incident unfolded.
