Shivamogga chamber of commerce and industry supports advocates’ demand for High Court Circuit Bench

Shivamogga District Chamber of Commerce and Industries has demanded a Circuit Bench of Karnataka High Court in Shivamogga.

In a press release issued on Tuesday, B. Gopinath, president of the chamber, said that the chamber would support the Shivamogga advocates, fighting for a circuit bench in Shivamogga. “Shivamogga is a suitable place for the bench, considering its proximity to other districts in the central region of Karnataka,” he stated.

Further, he stressed the need for restoring the flight services connecting Bengaluru and Shivamogga. The air connectivity was crucial for the industries in the district. Moreover, people of Shivamogga and the neighbouring districts were dependent on the service, he added.
