After Donald Trump reiterated threat to destroy Iranian energy infrastructure if no deal is reached, chairman of the Israeli parliament security committee took a jibe at the US President asking him to take action and not just “quack".

In a post on X, Chairman of the Israeli Parliament National Security Committee Zvika Fogel said: “Donald, if you have to shoot, shoot. Don’t quack."

This comes after Trump reiterated his threat to destroy Iran’s power plants and other civilian energy infrastructure if no deal is reached to end the conflict in the West Asia.

“I could take out Iran in one day," Trump told Fox News show “Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo". “I could have their entire energy everything, every one of their plants, their electric generating plants, which is a big deal."

Earlier this month, Trump had warned that if Tehran fails to reach a deal, the United States could “blow up the whole country."

In a phone interview with ABC News, Trump said he expects Iran to make a deal quickly. “If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn’t, we’re blowing up the whole country," he said.

“It’s going to be bridge day and power plant day in the country of Iran." He added that “very little" would be off limits if no agreement is reached, though he declined to specify whether civilian infrastructure would be targeted.
