Streamer Clavicular walks out after Mika raises Peter Thiel funding rumors during $15000 interview (Image via Getty)
Streamer Clavicular walked out of an interview and told a reporter to leave his house after she asked about Peter Thiel. “Show me one receipt.” That was the line reporter Mika repeated after streamer Clavicular suddenly ended their interview and asked her to leave his house on camera.
The tense moment happened during a live Kick stream when Mika brought up rumors linking Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, to investor Peter Thiel. Within seconds, the interview stopped and Clavicular accused her of being funded by Thiel. Mika says she paid $15,000 for a 30 minute interview and never got to finish it.Soon after leaving, Mika posted a video explaining her side. She said she only asked about Peter Thiel because the rumors are widely discussed online.
She also claimed Clavicular’s team accused her of having blockchain ties to Thiel backed groups but showed no proof. The clash quickly spread across X and streaming platforms, with both sides trading sharp public statements. As of now, there is no confirmed evidence that Peter Thiel funds either Mika or Clavicular.
Braden Peters also known as Clavicular fires back after Mika claims $15,000 interview scam and denies Peter Thiel funding
In her video, Mika explained why she asked the question that ended the interview. She said, “I just got scammed by the internet’s biggest looks maxer.
Okay, so I paid $15,000 to go and interview Clavicular for 30 minutes. That’s it, super short, in and out. And I wanted to ask him some questions about, like, his funding his business, and, of course, the rumors about him and Peter Thiel, because that is absolutely everywhere.
But we do a little journalism. The second that I brought up Peter Thiel, he panicked. He then flipped it on me and then said I was the one funded by Peter Thiel.”She added, “He said that his team did research on me and that there was blockchain ties from Thiel funded parties to my wallet, which is there’s zero proof of that, because it never happened. He literally couldn’t show one single receipt. Show me one receipt that I am Peter Thiel funded, or Peter Thiel backed. I’ll wait.”After Mika posted on X saying, “I just got money mogged by Clavicular,” Peters responded publicly. He wrote, “Thanks for the 15k of dark money and crypto scams.
Scammer gets scammed.”Later, Mika said, “You charge $15,000 for 30 minutes, and then you can’t handle a single question, like source, I just made it up, and then you’re calling me a scammer. But literally, what you just did is scamming like nobody told me to do this. I went solo. I came alone.”Mika also claimed she asked about Thiel because people online were saying Peter Thiel helped get Clavicular released from jail and that charges were dropped.
There is no public proof confirming that claim.Last year, Peters said Peter Thiel invited him to his Hollywood Hills home. Online users have also guessed that a supporter known only as “P” could be Thiel. However, neither Braden Peters nor Peter Thiel has confirmed any financial connection. At this point, the dispute remains a public back and forth with no verified documents shared by either side.
