Shubham Mishra, founder and CEO of Energy AI Labs, got an unexpected answer when he asked a Chinese entrepreneur about the difference between Indian and Chinese business leaders. He shared the experience in a post on X on Tuesday.
During a call with the Chinese entrepreneur, who is set to become Energy AI Labs’ official channel partner in China, Mishra asked a simple question, “What’s the biggest difference between Indian and Chinese entrepreneurs?"
The India CEO said he expected a philosophical answer. Instead, the response was blunt.

Mishra said the Chinese entrepreneur , in broken English, responded, “We don’t believe in work-life balance and its online debates. There’s only two things: work time or personal time."
