Gudi Padwa is about fresh beginnings and staying grounded

Actress Snehlata Vasaikar cherishes Gudi Padwa, emphasizing fresh beginnings and positive energy despite demanding shoots. She prioritizes a simple pooja, decorating the gudi, and wearing traditional attire.

Actor Snehlata Vasaikar, who will be seen as Suman Naik in Vashikaranam, says festivals like Gudi Padwa hold deep personal meaning despite her busy shooting schedule.Talking about her plans this year, she shares, “This year, I want to keep it simple yet meaningful.

Gudi Padwa, for me, is all about fresh beginnings and positive energy. I’ll start the day with a small pooja at home, decorate the gudi with care, and wear something traditional.

Even with work commitments, she makes it a point to pause and reflect. “Even if the day is busy, I make sure to express gratitude and set intentions for the year ahead. A little homemade sweet and family time makes it complete for me. Shooting schedules are demanding, so taking a full day off isn’t always possible.

But I always carve out some time, even if it’s just a few hours,” she says. She fondly recalls rituals from her childhood that she still follows. “Putting up the gudi, having neem-jaggery prasad, and starting the day early with positivity—these are traditions I continue even today. They keep me grounded, no matter how hectic life gets.”She further adds, “Family time is rare when you’re constantly shooting, so occasions like Gudi Padwa become even more special. Even if it’s just a meal together or a quick call, it feels fuller. These moments remind me that no matter how busy life gets, family is always at the centre of everything.”
