Residential pre-university colleges run by the Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) under the Social Welfare Department have recorded a pass percentage of 97.22 in this year’s II PUC examinations.
Social Welfare Minister H.C. Mahadevappa said that this marks an increase of 5.58 percentage points compared to last year’s 91.64%. “A total of 5,103 students appeared for the II PU examination from residential PU colleges run by KREIS, and a total of 4,961 students have passed,” he said at a press conference on Friday (April 10).
