South Korean company MD visits BLW

Varanasi: The managing director of South Korean company ARA Bridge Ltd, Sihyung Park, visited Banaras Locomotive Works (BLW) alongside officials from RITES Ltd on Thursday to assess the facility's capacity for manufacturing standard-gauge locomotives.

During the meeting, CME/production & marketing, Ram Janam Chaubey and chief design engineer/diesel, Praveen Kumar highlighted BLW’s achievements, technical advancements, locomotive production, global exports, modern manufacturing capabilities, and various technical aspects of the locomotive manufacturing process. The delegation toured various production units, including the truck machine shop, loco frame shop, loco assembly shop, loco test shop, light machine shop, sub-assembly shop, engine erection shop, and engine test shop.
