Actress Spruha Joshi has opened up about the growing problem of social media trolling, saying celebrities are often judged for everything they do, from their work to their personal lives.The popular Marathi actress, who has worked in theatre, television and films, is also a poet and regularly shares her work on YouTube.

She is active on social media and often posts updates about her life.

However, she revealed that she has been trolled over small things, including her clothes and even her food choices.Recalling an incident from around 10 years ago, Spruha said she faced heavy criticism for wearing a halterneck blouse. The controversy became so big that it even made newspaper headlines. Speaking in a recent interview with Amuk Tamuk, the actress said she does not like strangers telling her what she should wear or eat.Spruha said, “I don’t like strangers telling me what to eat, what to wear. Talking to people about clothes, this is how it should be, that is how it should be. I don’t like people saying what you are wearing. I have given this right only to my family. I don’t mind it at all.”Related the troll due to her halterneck blouse, Spruha stated, “I have been trolled many times. Ten years ago, I had posted a photo. In it, I was wearing a halterneck blouse. I was trolled so much that the news of it was published in the paper. There was nothing in it, actually. If I had done something and been trolled, I would have understood.”
