Srinivas Louis Taken to Mysuru To Recover Phones And Track Crimes

New Delhi: Police have taken Srinivas Louis, accused of sending bomb hoax emails to various courts, to Mysuru to recover electronic devices and trace the locations from where he operated.Police sources said one more phone has been found at his residence, in addition to the two seized from him.Cops suspect that more electronic devices may be found as the investigation progresses.A police source said: “We have come to know that he was frequently changing his location. He had stayed in Bengaluru for some time and then moved to Mysuru. These locations are being checked, and he will be taken to each place to recover devices and gather more evidence.”He had changed his name repeatedly to evade detection. One of the aliases was R. Srinivas.Louis had a postgraduate degree but was unemployed. He was frustrated with his condition. He was also a law school dropout. The inability to complete his degree only increased his frustration and led him to target courts. He had worked as an assistant professor.Louis was also using virtual numbers, which made tracing him harder. Police in Mumbai and other places where he had sent bomb threats, may also seek his custody.A police officer said the addresses listed in his identity documents were fabricated. When investigators traced one of the addresses, they found he had lived there nearly 20 years ago.
