SRMIST signs MoU with Ather Energy for promoting research on EV systems

SRM Institute of Science and Technology (SRMIST) and Ather Energy entered into a collaboration on Wednesday to promote research and experiential learning on electric vehicle systems.

As part of the MoU, Ather handed over three electric scooters to SRMIST to be used for research, innovation, and hands-on learning on campus. The occasion also witnessed the launch of Ather Forge, an initiative to provide an opportunity for students to work on Ather’s proprietary scooter technology, ranging from battery systems to intelligent dashboards, helping transform academic concepts to tangible prototypes under industry guidance.
