Stalin will return to assembly soon: Nehru

Pudukottai: Former DMK minister and Trichy West MLA K N Nehru has said that DMK president M K Stalin, who lost from Kolathur constituency, would return to the assembly soon, stopping short of explicitly saying he would contest a by-election.Speaking at a party event in Pudukottai on Wednesday, Nehru referred to chief minister Vijay’s remarks in the assembly, mocking Stalin for losing the Kolathur seat. “It is certain that DMK president M K Stalin will return to the assembly soon,” Nehru said. Claiming that Vijay’s remarks had fired up DMK cadres, he said party workers across the state were rallying behind Stalin.
