'STR 51': Ashwath Marimuthu CONFIRMS Silambarasan and Santhanam's reunion, promises a thrilling love-fantasy

After a long gap from mainstream roles, Santhanam is all set to share screen space with Silambarasan in his upcoming 51st film, directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The movie, which is said to be a love-fantasy drama, has created considerable buzz among fans ever since the first poster titled 'God of Love' was released.

Silambarasan has many projects in the pipeline, however, his 51st film is advancing into a different stage of production, with many people waiting with bated breath for the release date.

Promising love-fantasy and STR-Santhanam combo

The upcoming film marks a significant collaboration as it brings Silambarasan and Santhanam together again after a long break. As per Nakkheeran, Ashwath Marimuthu recently shared film details during a college event in Chennai.

He shared, “This film has a wonderful story. At its core, it explores the meaning of heaven and the journey to understand it. You cannot escape learning from your mistakes, just like in 'Dragon.

' Santhanam is part of this, so expect a fun STR-Santhanam combo.”

'STR 51' music and heroine updates

While Anirudh is confirmed as the music composer for the project, the official announcement regarding the heroine is still pending. It is said that Mirunal Thakur has been offered the main female character, but it seems that the deal is not yet signed. According to the director, the film will feature multiple heroines, and more details about the cast and storyline will be revealed at the right moment.
