'Sundarakanda': CBFC clears Nara Rohith's romantic drama for Ganesh Chaturthi release - Read

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has given a clean U/A certificate to director Venkatesh Nimmalapudi's upcoming romantic drama, 'Sundarakanda', starring Nara Rohith in the lead role. The announcement comes as a major boost for the makers, who are now gearing up for the film's theatrical release tomorrow on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi.

Taking to social media, the production house confirmed the certification, writing, "Certified for every heartbeat… #Sundarakanda is U/A and ready to steal your hearts this AUG 27. #SundarakandaOnAug27th". The film marks Rohith's 20th project in his career.

'Sundarakanda' teaser shows Rohith's character as a middle-aged bachelor who strolls through life with charm, humor and wit. The release date poster features Rohith's journey through love, both as a first-time experience, where he is paired with Sridevi Vijaykumar, as well as in a mature second-chance timeline, where he is with Vriti Vaghani.The ensemble cast also includes Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Vasuki Anand, comedian Satya, Ajay, VTV Ganesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Viswant, Rupa Lakshmi, Sunaina, and Raghu Babu.The music of the film is composed by Leon James. The first single from the film 'Bahusa Bahusa' is sung by Sid Sriram. Lyrics have been penned by Sri Harsha Emani, with stunts choreographed by Pruthvi Master and dance sequences by Vishwa Raghu.The director of photography is Pradeep M Varma.
