South Western Railway has decided to upgrade the coach composition of Train No. 16205/16206 Talguppa–Mysuru–Talguppa daily express by replacing the existing conventional Integral Coach Factory (ICF) coaches with modern Linke Hofmann Busch (LHB) coaches. The new LHB rake will come into effect from April 8, from both Talguppa and Mysuru ends.
With this upgrade, the train will now run with a total of 18 LHB coaches, comprising one AC chair car, five second-class chair cars, 10 general second-class coaches, one second-class-cum-luggage and brake van with a Divyangjan-friendly compartment, and one luggage-cum-brake van, a press release said.
Passengers can expect a smoother, safer, and more comfortable journey with this modernisation initiative, it added.
