In an attempt to curb corruption and prevent customers from being overcharged for liquor bottles, the Tamil Nadu government on Tuesday announced a 25 per cent salary hike for employees working at TASMAC outlets.
The move marks one of Chief Minister Vijay’s latest measures to reform the functioning of state-run liquor shops.
