The Jeddah E-Prix wrapped up on a high note this weekend after two back-to-back finals and an additional Formula E Evo Session for content creators. The teams have now earned a much-needed break before racing resumes in March.
With a full month to go before Round 6 in Madrid, Formula E shared a fun Instagram video featuring drivers revealing their favorite pancake toppings. The break seems like the perfect time to learn what satisfies their taste buds before they hit the track.
Formula E drivers reveal pancake preferences
The video was shared from the track on Formula E’s official Instagram handle with the question: “What pancake topping are you having?” Several drivers revealed their picks, except one.Taylor Barnard admitted he is not a pancake fan at all. When asked what he does on Pancake Day, the DS Penske driver said, “I ignore it.” Asked about his preferred topping, he replied, “I don’t like pancakes, so none. I just have cereal in the morning.”
Meanwhile, Andretti driver Jake Dennis said he enjoys caramel on his pancakes, while Jaguar TCS Racing’s Antonio Felix da Costa prefers Nutella and peanut butter mixed together.
Envision Racing driver Joel Eriksson opts for strawberries, and Porsche champion Pascal Wehrlein goes with Nutella.Luca Di Grassi shared a unique choice. Explaining his topping, he said, “Dulce de leche. It’s sweetened condensed milk that they make in Brazil, Argentina, and other places.”Reacting to the video, one fan wrote, “Yum, can’t go wrong with a pancake!” Another commented, “Not one lemon juice and sugar!?”
What’s next in Formula E?
The drivers have just wrapped up high-octane action in Jeddah.
Pascal Wehrlein won the first race of the doubleheader, while Antonio Felix da Costa claimed victory in the second. TheBurntChip, a social media influencer, won the Formula E Evo Session on Sunday while driving for Jaguar TCS Racing.The teams now have a month-long break before returning for the Madrid E-Prix. Madrid is a new addition to the Formula E calendar and is scheduled for March 21.
