A few days ago, as per E! News, Las Vegas cabaret artist Maren Wade, sued Taylor Swift for trademark infringement concerning her most recent album, “The Life of a Showgirl”.

As per reports, Maren Wade has had the trademark on the title, “Confessions of a Showgirl” since 2015.It all started in 2014 when she had launched a column around it, which later grew into a podcast and a live performance tour.While the billionaire pop star Taylor Swift has remained silent about it, the lawsuit seems to have taken a turn for the worse.On 7th April, Las Vegas cabaret artist Maren Wade reportedly asked a Los Angeles federal court for an immediate injunction.As per reports, if the court agrees to this, it could mean that Taylor Swift can no longer be allowed to sell any merchandise related to her twelfth album, “The Life of a Showgirl”.The hearing for the lawsuit has been scheduled in May as Taylor Swift has continued to remain publicly distant from the mess.

The billionaire pop star’s legal team has also not issued any statements to the media as of now.

For now, it seems all that Taylor Swift has been focusing on is planning her multi million dollar wedding to the Kansas City Chiefs’ star player, Travis Kelce.As per Heat World, a source has revealed that Travis Kelce has taken a backseat when it comes to planning their wedding since he reportedly believes that Taylor Swift can do a better job at it.This has led to Taylor Swift reportedly feeling “overwhelmed” as many details about their wedding have been leaked to the media.It also seems that Taylor Swift will not be releasing any new music in the next few months as her main priority is her lavish wedding to Travis Kelce.As per reports, immediately after getting married, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce will be going on their honeymoon across continents.
