Teen missing after being swept away by waves at Ezhara Parappally beach in Kerala’s Kannur

An 18-year-old youth went missing after being swept away by strong waves at Ezhara Parappally beach in Kannur on Wednesday evening. The incident occurred when a group of four youths were spending time on the beach, two of whom were caught in the rough seas.

While one of them managed to escape, Farhan Rahoof (18), son of Rahoof, resident of Kayalode, remains missing.

Police, Fire and Rescue Service personnel and revenue officials rushed to the spot and have launched a joint search operations.
