Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has requested the Central Government to transfer 98.2 acres of defence land enabling the State Government to commence works on the prestigious Gandhi Sarovar project.

The Chief Minister, presently in New Delhi, called on Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Wednesday (September 10, 2025). Mr. briefed the Defence Minister about the State’s plans to establish Gandhi Circle of unity at the confluence of the Musi and Esa rivers. The project would stand as an enduring emblem of national integration and the timeless ideals of Mahatma Gandhi.
