In a major relief to State government employees, the Telangana government on Wednesday (April 29, 2026) released ₹1,000 crore towards clearing long-pending dues, acting on the directions of Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka.

The government has also cleared all pending General Provident Fund (GPF) dues up to October 2025, bringing relief to thousands of retired employees awaiting their benefits.
