Telangana’s revenue receipts remain sluggish at February end

The State’s revenue receipts continued their sluggish pace in the previous financial year achieving overall receipts of just 67.19% of the projected revenue at the end of February.

The State reported total revenue receipts of ₹1.54 lakh crore, 67.19% of the ₹2.29 lakh crore of the budget estimates by February end. A major chunk of the revenue receipts was through borrowings and other liabilities at ₹77,153 crore, constituting almost half of the total revenue receipts.
