In one of the videos, the Tamil superstar looked absolutely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love at the event. His parents, SA Chandrasekhar and Shoba, were also present on the stage at that time.

They looked proud of their son and gave him a sweet hug. The actor almost broke down in happiness at that moment.

Thalapathy Vijay announced his next film, 'Jana Nayagan', as the final project. Apart from Vijay, the film also stars Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol, Mamitha Baiju, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Narain, and Priyamani. Directed by H. Vinoth, the film is set to release in theaters in January 2026.His previous project was the Venkat Prabhu-directed 'The GOAT'. The film hit the cinemas on September 5, 2024. Also, last year, he announced that he will be contesting the 2026 assembly elections.
