The father of the minor accused in the Dwarka road accident that allegedly killed 23-year-old Sahil Dhaneshra has said the family is “deeply grief-stricken" and will fully cooperate with the legal process, while acknowledging his son’s role in the incident.
Speaking to ANI, he said, “…This is my son’s mistake, and I apologise for it. I will follow whatever the legal process entails. Whatever information I received, I received it from the police. My son and daughter were in the car. I run a commercial vehicle business. The vehicle is used in our business, and the challan on the vehicle is because of our drivers who drive it. This is not because of my son."

Police registered an FIR under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita after receiving a PCR call at 11:57 am.
Sahil was found dead at the scene, while an injured taxi driver was shifted to IGI Hospital.

Police have seized and inspected all three vehicles and collected CCTV footage from the area. The investigation is ongoing.
