Three Nuzvid IIIT lecturers suspended for sending lewd messages to students

Three lecturers at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Nuzvid IIIT, were suspended for allegedly sending lewd messages to female students and misbehaving with them. The action was taken following a complaint lodged by the students with the institute management.

“The accused faculty had sent objectionable messages to the students. Based on the preliminary enquiry, the lecturers were suspended,” Nuzvid IIIT Director S.S.S.V. Gopala Raju told The Hindu on Monday (April 13, 2026).
