Top Swachh Survekshan rank for Vijayawada is a priority: Collector

Vijayawada was recognised well in the Swachh Survekshan rankings last year, and the aim this time is to achieve the top position, which can be possible through innovative initiatives and public participation, NTR District Collector G. Lakshmisha has said.

At a meeting at the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC) office on Wednesday, Mr. Lakshmisha, who is also the Special Officer for the VMC, interacted with the representatives from more than 30 residential welfare associations and sought feedback and suggestions on the measures to be taken to improve the city’s cleanliness.
